...and why does he love ham? His biography...

Scott Everett Berger was born in Los Angeles in 1963; the Song of the Year was "What Kind Of Fool Am I," so Scott made it his quest to find out. From a young age, Scott was performing for friends, family and neighbors. With Scott’s father a processor with Kodak, Scott's second home naturally was in front of the camera.

He has studied Improvisation with the comedy veteran Avery Schreiber (of the famed Second City and Burns and Schreiber Comedy Team). Under Avery’s wing, Scott blossomed into a fine comic performer.

Scott hones his talent by using his improv and comic performing skills in and around the Los Angeles Area. He performs often at The Comedy Store Belly Room with Greg Dean's Comedy Workshop, and The Ice House Annex in Pasadena. Scott is also co-producer of the successful The Comedy Outpost. Scott considers himself lucky to have entered show business "later" in life, as it has allowed him to experience things on a deeper level and with greater comittment.

Scott spends his free time working with The Scream Team- a special effects make-up company, making coffin bookcases & shelves, keeping his wonderful new wife Beth happy, and not taking life too seriously. Scott recently appeared on BET's Comic View show on cable, and has been a ghoul and/or make-up artist at Six Flags Magic Mountain's Fright Fest for the past 14 years.

Scott is also the founder of the J.F.B: Jews For Bacon - a movement of Jews who love eating pork and pork eaters who want to be Jewish.
